We had a meeting at Bakhtiar's office at TTDI Shah Alam. In attendance were Shaber, Bakhtiar, Md Noor Rani, Lan Ali and the headboy, Syed.

These are things agreed upon by the Chairman, Tuan Haji Shaber:-

1. Date - since Pak Pin will be on on holiday in Malaysia until the 30th of August, the REUNION will be held on the 25th of August, 2012. Tentative date is 26th of August.
2. Location - first choice is Crowne Plaza Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Alternative to Crowne Plaza is Crown Princess.
3. Lodging - Pak Pin has volunteered to provide lodging for outstation people at The Habitat, besides Crown Princess and opposite Ampang Park.
4. Door gift - Pak has agreed to contribute to each attendee his poetry book, Masih Di Sini dan Echo of Silence worth RM39.00. In addition, the committee has agreed on a car sticker (maybe two for all attendees). T-shirt or polo shirt is subject to budget.
5. Itinerary - hi-tea ta the hotel from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by dinner at 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. A late lunch will be held at probably Restoran Pelita the following day.
6. Format - no dress code, no formality, informal dinner and no spouse. You can bring your spouse during the lunch event at Restoran Pelita but not during the reunion.
7. Main event - lucky draw and lots of lucky draws. Prizes pledged so far; an LCD TV and a notebook.

Please spread this message to everybody. We are targeting a minimum attendance of 70 people. No joining fee, no dinner fee but you are required to bring a gift (or maybe two) for lucky draws so that everyone has a chance at winning one..

Mesyuarat mengenai REUNION akan diadakan pada malam ni jam 9:00 malam, 19 April 2012 di pejabat saya Taman TTDI Shah Alam. Sesiapa yang ada waktu lapang boleh hadir. Kalau tak tau tempat sila talipon saya 019-2655657.

This is just to confirm that the REUNION will be ON. Tentative date is 26th of August, 2012 (subject to availability). The Big Boss (Tuan Hj Shaber) and The Second Big Boss (Tuan Haji Sheikh Bakhtiar) have both concurred that August is a good date.

We are targeting an attendance of about 100 people but a more realistic figure is expected to be about 70 or roughly 70% of members of Batch 75.

So far we have received pledges amounting to RM18,000.00. These are pledges only and until they have transferred the money to Tuan Haji Sheikh Bakhtiar, they remain as pledges.

We are still short of roughly RM8,000.00. So please come forward and contribute (jangan jadi kedekut). Since the 2010 event was quite successful, we will follow the same format:-

1. No spouse allowed
2. No dress code
3. No fee
4. No formality, speech, praise or bodek allowed
5. No a la carte diner - it will be buffet style
6. High tea before dinner
7. Breakfast the following day (gotta check with Malik Baba about this)
8. Lots of prizes for lucky draw

Every attendee must contribute a prize for lucky draws be it a pen or phone or whatever you can steal from somewhere. Those without prizes will be barred from entering. Martius will be appointed as door keeper to ensure compliance.

If we have enough money, we will print a hardcover book about our batch. Roughly this will cost about RM20 to RM50 each depending on contents.

So see you in August. Those who refuse to attend without a valid excuse will have their names transferred to other batches.

Sebagaimena kita tahu Pak Imam kena stroke semenjak beberapa minggu yang lau. Saya dengan ini mencadangkan supaya kita sama-sama membantu beliau pada masa beliau dalam kesusahan ini.
